The Kaeng Krachan National Park
Wild Elephants and MonkeysWith the area of nearly 2.500 km² is the Kaeng Krachan National Park the largest Park in Thailand. Hundreds of wild animals are living in the park, many wild orchids and other colourful flowers are growing in the trees and on the ground. This park is also one of the most beautiful in Thailand and you find it only a few kilometers away from Cha-Am and we can make trips with you to this park.

Kaeng Krachan is not only a National Park, this park is an investment in the future for the Thai people, because the water is used for making water energy for the people who are living in the sourrounding of the park.
Also in the dry season, when some cities dont have fresh water, many trucks come and take the water from the lake and bring the water to the dry cities.
On some small islands are monkeys living. You can visit the islands by renting a small boat.
The Kaeng Krachan park is always green and clean. There is no time, where it is not worth to visit it. In the rain season you maybe find not a blue sky but it is fascinating, how high the water level can increase.

60 mammals and more then 400 kinds of birds are living in harmony in this beautiful park. When you arrive the park early in the morning, you can see hundreds and thousands of singing birds, who greets you with sweet songs. The monkeys are not so dangerous like in some temples, you can feed them with peanuts and bananas. |
