The ship shaped temple Wat Tanot Luang has now become a popular tourist destination in Cha-Am. But only few know that the abbot of the temple, Luang Phor Yorn, has strong magical power.
Once a year, the Wai Kru takes place to honour Pra Kuh Tong Suk in Ta Scho Tdoou.
In this sacred ceremony Buddhist monks are loading amulets with magical energy.

This happens due to the bundled concentrations of the monks who put themselfes with monk singing in a kind of deep meditation.
All the monks are connected with a white string. One end the abbot Luang Phor Yorn holds in his hands, the other end is fixed at the amulets. The abbot is during the entire ceremony in deep meditation.
