Hundreds of wild animals are living in the park, many wild orchids and other colourful flowers are growing in the trees and on the ground. Kaeng Krachan is not only a National Park, this park is an investment in the future for the Thai people, because the water is used for making water energy for the people who are living in the sourrounding of the park. Also in the dry season, when some cities dont have fresh water, many trucks come and take the water from the lake and bring the water to the dry cities.  On some small islands are monkeys living. You can visit the islands by renting a small boat.  The Kaeng Krachan park is always green and clean. There is no time, where it is not worth to visit it. In the rain season you maybe find not a blue sky but it is fascinating, how high the water level can increase.
